Funeral services for Faye Rarick, 77, of Bridgeport, formerly of Kentucky, will be Friday, March 25, at 2:00 PM at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 – 9:00 PM also at the funeral home. She passed away March 19, 2022 in Bridgeport.
Faye was born June 15, 1944 in Cecilia, Kentucky to Willard Preston and Wilda Lucas Preston. She married Teddy Lee Rarick on November 24, 1978 in Cecilia.
She was very active in Balsora Baptist Church. Faye sang in the choir, played piano, taught Sunday School, was heavily involved in WMU, and always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved to paint, sew, crochet, make quilts, loved animals, loved working outside; she just always stayed busy. Faye cherished all of her grandchildren. She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Faye is survived by her husband of almost 44 years, Teddy; daughters, Donna Mott & husband Jim of Alvord, Lisa Goodman of Bridgeport, Melinda Johnston of Arizona; sons, Mike Goodman & wife Barbara of Kentucky, Geoff Goodman of Texas, Marc Goodman of Texas; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Thelma Donahue of Indiana; and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leroy Preston and wife Sue Preston, brother-in-law; Pat Donahue and father of her children, Arnold Goodman.
