Terry Wayne Lindsay

Memorial services for Terry Wayne Lindsay, 72, of Alvord, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, Texas. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., thirty minutes prior to the service, at the church. Pastor Rocky Johnson will officiate.

 Terry Wayne Lindsay, born on July 1, 1951, to James and Coreene (Hackley) Lindsay, in South Gate, California, and passed away on April 3, 2024, in Decatur, Texas. He married the love of his life Judy Lindsay on October 31, 1970, and was happily married for fifty-three years. 

 Terry had a passion for baseball that was evident from an early age and may be remembered by many for his time playing for the Anaheim Angels farm team, a professional baseball team in California. In addition to his dedication to baseball, Terry had a love for fishing, finding peace and solace in the quiet moments spent by the water. His hobbies reflected his appreciation for the outdoors and the simple pleasures it offered. Terry will be dearly missed, but lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

 Those left to cherish Terry’s memory are his wife, Judy Lindsay; daughters Brandy Haymes and husband, Mike, and Shana Worthington and husband, Decie; grandchildren Savanna Meyer and husband, Caleb, Kayden Worthington, and Tred Worthington; and one great-grandchild Raven Meyer.

 Terry is preceded in death by his parents James and Coreene Lindsay and four brothers.
