Steve Collie

Steven Collie, 59, passed away in Decatur Tuesday, July 10, 2013. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 14 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport from 3-5 pm. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 15 at 1:00 pm at Rubottom Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma, officiated by Floyd Cabler. Pallbearers are Jay Valerius, Jason Rushing, Chad Rushing, Michael Cate, Cliff Moore, and J.R. Hamlett. Steve was born July 22, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas to parents Travis and Llawana (Shannon) Collie. Steve was an electrician all of his adult life. He was also an avid NRA member and gun collector, and enjoyed classic cars and attending swap meets. He leaves behind his parents Travis and Llawana Collie of Plainview; sons Aaron Collie and Nicholas Collie of Paradise; daughters Keisha Harrison and husband Preston of Big Springs, and Staci Collie, also of Paradise; brothers Gary Collie of Cleburne; sisters Sharon Richardson and Karen Lawrence, both of Plainview; grandchildren Hannah Collie, Aiden Hernandez, Dakota Harrison, Keiston Harrison, and Phinly Zion Harrison. Steve was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years Debbie Collie; and brothers Ricky and Randy Collie.
