Services for Sharon Lynn Tillery, 60, of Chico, Texas will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Pastor Scott Russell. Burial will follow at Chico Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd Weger, Chris Tillery, Jason Golden, Brayden Hughes, Matt Tillery, and Tim Tillery. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday, June 17, also at the funeral home.
Sharon was born December 11, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia to Charles Edward and Martha Jean (Kennedy) Sharpless; she passed away at home Friday, June 12.
She had lived in Wise County since 1992. She married Christopher Allen Tillery on November 23, 1995 in Paris, Texas.
Sharon loved being Momma and Meemaw, and her home and family (and her puppy dogs) were everything to her. She loved her job as a business administrator, and in her free time she headed to the beach whenever she could, spending as much time in the sun as possible. She loved to garden and raised beautiful flowers and vegetables.
She and her husband Chris Tillery of Chico were together for 34 years. She also leaves behind son Jason Golden and wife Lisa of Decatur, Texas; daughters Paisli Thornhill of Fort Worth, Texas, Christal Kittrell and husband Charles of Bridgeport, Brandy Campbell and husband Terry of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Natasha Williams and husband Anthony of Mississippi; brothers Chris Sharpless and wife Melonie of Georgia, and Randy Sharpless of Georgia; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Martha Sharpless, and son Clint Thornhill.
