Funeral services for Selene Herrera, 35, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Selene Lizet-Pecina Herrera was born June 23, 1989, to Ascencion Herrera and Maria de los Angeles Pecina, in Decatur, Texas, and passed away March 16, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. She lived in Bridgeport her entire life and was known as a devoted mother. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many around her.

Selene will be remembered for her dedication to her family and her caring nature. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her father, Ascencion Herrera; mother, Maria de los Angeles Pecina; daughter, Zyla Whiteside; brother, Saul Herrera; sister, Denice Herrera; and a host of friends.
