Sarah Emma Jackson

Funeral services for Sarah Emma Jackson, 77, of Bridgeport, will be Wednesday, September 21, at 2:00 PM at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.  Visitation will be one hour prior at 1:00 also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Westside Cemetery.  Sarah passed away on September 17, 2022, in Decatur.

Sarah was born July 22, 1945, in Bridgeport, to William Farris Gray and Delphia Frances Groves.  Sarah was a devoted homemaker who treasured her family, especially her great-grandbabies! She was also an animal lover, particularly of Pooh and Booter, her dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Robinson; son, Bud Jackson and wife Joy; grandchildren, Chris Robinson, Karly Langston, Wacey Jackson, McKenzi Knight, Braden Jackson; great-grandchildren, Adriann Robinson, Korbin Carlson, Addison Robinson, Kayleigh Carlson, Tristan Robinson, Leon Robinson, Easton Knight, and Karter Knight; brother, Matt Gray; and numerous other family and friends.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie Manire; brother, James Gray; and son-in-law, Robby Robinson.
