Ryan "Bubba" Welch

A Celebration of Life for Ryan “Bubba” Welch, 34, of Fort Worth, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Rev. Jeff Wickwire and Rev. Dan Williams will officiate.

Ryan “Bubba” Welch was born May 8, 1990, to Michael and Victoria (Forester) Welch, in Fort Worth, Texas, and went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 11, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Bubba spent most of his life working in construction, a field he was passionate about, and even took the initiative to start his own business building fences.

Outside of his work, Bubba found joy in the great outdoors. He loved spending time fishing, where he could often be found by the water, enjoying nature. Music was also a significant part of his life; Bubba enjoyed playing guitar and often shared his love for music with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Bubba’s memory are his daughters Viola Grace, Laney, Pipper, and Harper Welch; parents Mike D. and Victoria Welch; brother Ross Alan Welch; grandparents Lonnie and Linda Forester; nephew Logan Hunter Welch; and a host of friends.
