Funeral services for Ryan Matthew Clay, 36, of Bowie, Texas, will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation will be held at 1 pm, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will include Kevin and Tony Clay, Matthew Murrow, Kenny Dean, Kristie Bolt, and Daniel Johnson.
Ryan Matthew Clay was born on September 2, 1987, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Elmer and Cynthia (Clay) Bolt, and passed away December 3, 2023, in Bowie, Texas.
Ryan was a man of many interests and talents. He had a deep appreciation for music and would spend hours listening to his favorite artists. In his free time, he loved to cook out, and especially enjoyed his mother’s delicious food. However, Ryan's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He had a deep bond with his son Jaycob, and they shared a love for playing video games. His nieces and nephews also held a special place in his heart, and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. The memory of Ryan will be forever treasured by his loved ones.
Those left to cherish Ryan’s memory are his son Jaycob Clay of Bowie, Texas; father Elmer Bolt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; mother Cynthia Bolt and spouse Joe Cambre of Bowie, Texas; brother Zachary Bolt; sisters Brittany Davidson and husband Daniel of Bowie, Texas; grandmother Carolyn Clay; nephews Caleb Davidson and Brandon Bolt; nieces Zahra Bolt and Samantha Davidson; special aunt Wanda Bolt; and a host of extended family.
Ryan is preceded in death by his brother Christopher Bolt; grandparents Shirley and Jack Bolt and Tommy Clay; uncles Jack Bolt, Jerry Dean, Billy Bolt, Danny Johnson; and cousin Jerry “JJ” Dean all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
