Ronnie Godsey

Ronnie Lee Godsey, 66, of Springtown, Texas passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 in Decatur, Texas. A private service will be held. Ronnie was born November 10, 1949 in Sherman, Texas to Oleane (Hazelwood) and Jim Godsey. He was a Viet Nam veteran who served his country in the Army. He was a Baptist. He enjoyed wood burning, horses, operating heavy equipment, and especially playing with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Ann; sons Justin Godsey and wife Robyn and Kenneth Godsey and wife Jodye; daughter Bobbi McEuen and husband Tim; brother James Godsey and wife Jane; sister Frances Dickson and Sarah Godsey; aunt Betty Hazelwood Martin; grandchildren Haley, Taylor, Paitane, Courtney, Tadem, Laramie, Rhylee, Lance, Kayla, Kendall, and Mason; grandniece Evelyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Travis and Johnny; and daughter Tisha.
