Ronald Solley

A memorial service for Ronald M. Solley, 65, of Bridgeport, Texas will be 3:00 pm, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Bro. Gary Demmitt. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, August 7, also at Jones. Ronald passed away Friday, August 3 in Decatur.

Ronald was born November 23, 1952 in Blairsville, Pennsylvania to Orval and Thelma (Wilford) Solley. After high school he attended Odessa College in Odessa, Texas, and later worked in Odessa as a physical therapist’s assistant. His hobbies included camping.

He leaves behind sons Jeff Solley and wife Freida, Jason Solley and wife Carrie, and stepson Jeremy Ingmire and wife Misty; close friend and former wife Christina Solley; former wife Cathy Gardner; grandchildren Johnathan, Jewel, Jaycee, and Jadyn Solley, Jason Sherrill, Sarah Wilson and husband Dan, Rebecca Wright and husband Chris, Raylinda Flores and husband Ernie; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Lois Goswick.
