Rickey Walton

A graveside service for Rickey Lee Walton of Poolville, Texas will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 26, 2015 in Boonsville Cemetery in Boonsville, Texas, officiated by Bro. Bo Johnson. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 25 from 6-8 pm at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Rickey died Friday, August 21 in Decatur. He was 54. Born in Kennett, Missouri on November 2, 1960, Rickey Lee’s parents were Ezra and Martha (Headley) Walton. Rickey worked on the poly-line in the oilfield industry. His hobbies included collecting knives and swords, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks fan. He leaves behind sons Ricky Walton and Zachary Walton; daughters Raven Medley and Ashley Walton; parents Bobby and Martha Simmons; brothers Donnie Walton, Tim Walton, Lynn Long, and Jason Simmons; sister Alice Dee; grandchildren McKensie, Courtney, and Isaiah Johnson, Bella and Jonathan Walton, and Astriel, Braylea, and Kaila Medley. He was preceded in death by his father, Ezra Walton, brother Henry Walton, and son Shane Walton.
