Memorial services for Randall Kyle Erwin, 36, of Boyd, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024, at First Baptist Church Boyd.
Randall Kyle Erwin, a dedicated environmental scientist and veteran, peacefully passed away on August 22, 2024, in Boyd, Texas. He was born on November 30, 1987, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Randall and Staci (Dickey) Erwin.
Kyle served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years, proudly fulfilling his duties with the 3D Battalion, 4th Marines. During his time in the military, he completed multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, where he showcased extraordinary bravery and dedication. His service earned him numerous honors, including the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation with “Combat V” for valor, along with multiple Marine Corps letters of appreciation, a Certificate of Commendation, and a Meritorious Mast. Kyle’s contributions to his field and his country will be remembered by those who knew him.
Those left to cherish Kyle’s memory are his loving wife of 6 years and fishing champion of 22 years, Brittany Erwin; sons Wyatt Davis and Everett Erwin; daughters Alayna Erwin and Miley Erwin; parents Randall Erwin and wife Karen and Staci Romine and husband Mark; sister Ktee Erwin; all his Marine Corp Brothers; and a host of friends and family.
Kyle is preceded in death by his grandparents Judy and Allen Dickey; Earlene and Virgil Flowers; and bonus mom Cynthia Smith.
