Percy Ellington

A private graveside service for Percy Robert Ellington, 89, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at a later date at the DFW National Cemetery. Percy passed away August 25, 2022, in Bowie.

Percy was born on January 14, 1933, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to parents Percy and Martha Ellington.

He faithfully served our country in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he spent a career working as an engineer in the oilfield.

Percy is preceded in death by his mother Martha (Pollock) Ellington and father Percy Ellington, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother in-law Don Myers (late husband to Marilyn Myers) of Michigan.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter Elizabeth Elaine Ellington of Florida; sister Marilyn Myers of Washington state; and grandchild Amy Elaine Ellington of Florida.
