Graveside services for Patricia Ann Cox, 85, of Paradise, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, at Cottondale Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Pastor Charles Pugh will officiate.
Patricia Ann Cox went to be with our Lord on March 10, 2024, in Decatur, Texas. She was born March 28, 1938, to F.R. and Julia (Loper) Blair in Athens, Texas. Patricia was united in marriage to the love of her life, James T. Cox, Sr., on November 24, 1955, and was happily married 68 years. She was a loving wife, mother, mimi, aunt, and friend. Patricia fiercely loved her family and was adored by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was deeply loved and that her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory are her loving husband James T. Cox, Sr.; sons Jimmy Cox and wife Vickie and Jack Cox and wife Lisa; daughters Diane Kniffin and Janet Cox; grandchildren Leah, Scott, Cheryl, Sherrea, Laura, Wes, Devin, Melanie, and Zach; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Judy Ware and Betty Alcorn.
