Services for Norman L. Warner, 69, of Paradise, Texas will be 10:30 am Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas officiated by Pastor Robert Howard. Burial will follow in Jim Ned Cemetery at Runaway Bay, Texas. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, April 30, also at the funeral home. Norman passed away Saturday, April 25 in Decatur.
Norman was born February 15, 1952 in Bridgeport to Richard Erwin and Alziabee Melbina (McDaniel) Warner.
He worked hard all of his life, and was the guy who always got things done. In addition to working in the oilfield, he enjoyed doing things at home or for others.
Norman loved animals of all kinds. He also loved to garden and grew lots of vegetables that he often gave away to family and friends.
He enjoyed traveling on his motorcycle and got away as often as possible. Norman also went on a camping trip with family to Junction, Texas but arrived after hours. (They didn’t originally intend to stay in Junction, but they got lost along the way.) So instead of staying at the state park, they settled for the night in the city park!
He was a true family man and loved to spend time with his children, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Norman is survived by sons Timothy Warner and wife Melissa of Paradise, and Jerimey Warner of Paradise; siblings David Warner and wife Loyce of Paradise, and Jim Warner and wife Ronnie of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren Tim Warner Jr., Dustin Warner, Tristan Warner, and Savanah Warner; great-grandchildren Gabriella Warner and Matthew Warner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 50 years, Terry (Brandenburg) Warner, and granddaughter Beth Ann Warner.
