Funeral services for Myrtle ‘Myra’ Moody, 58, of Chico, will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at U-Turn World Ministries, officiated by Pastor Kevin Alexander. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Jim Ned Cemetery. Myrtle went peacefully to meet her Lord on June 14, in Chico, Texas.
She was born May 13, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Omar Lee and Alice Louise Tiller.
Myrtle had a soft spot for dogs and enjoyed spoiling her fur-babies. She also enjoyed spending time modeling quirky outfits on Facebook. She was a devoted mother and loved her boys, her husband and all her family.
She is survived by sisters Rita Waldrep, Vickie Scheller, and Carol Torres; sons John Johnson and wife Jessica Johnson of Bridgeport, Texas, Jody Tiller and wife Rachel Tiller of Stow, Ohio, and Christopher Tiller of Chico, Texas; grandchildren Cole Johnson, Jesse Chapman, Elijah Tiller, Abel Tiller, and Noah Tiller. She also left behind numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis ‘Shorty’ Moody; brothers David Webster, Raymond Tiller, and Bruce Tiller; sister Diane Tiller; and parents Omar Lee Tiller and Alice Louise Tiller.
