Pallbearers will include Joe Martinez, Domingo Martinez, Juan “Pee Wee” Lara, Fernando Cantu, Tony Flores, Oscar Luevanos, Juan Hernandez, and Mike Kidder; and Honorary Pallbearers Chase Childers, Raul Perez, and Colby Webber.
Mundo Hernandez, a dedicated former process technician at Poco Graphite for 25 years, passed away on May 10, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment. He was born on January 6, 1973, in Palmas Altas, Jerez Zacatecas, Mexico, to Silvestre, Sr. and Bertha Hernandez.
Mundo was known not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his vibrant personality. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1991, where he laid the foundation for his successful career. Mundo had a passion for playing baseball, spending hours on the lake, embarking on WinStar trips, creating Snapchat memories, listening to music, showcasing his artistic talent through drawing, and passionately supporting his favorite teams - the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Mavericks. His vibrant spirit brightened every room he entered.
Mundo will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and an unwavering love for his family.
Those left to cherish Mundo’s memory are his mother Bertha Hernandez; sons Nico Hernandez and wife Lizeth, Noah Hernandez and wife Lisbeth, and Nolan Hernandez; daughter Nicole Hernandez; mother of his children Donna Hernandez; brother Silvestre “Silver” Hernandez, Jr.; sisters Aurora Alvarez and husband Victor, Avelia Torres and husband Alberto, Cindy Tovar and husband Oscar; nephew Cris Hernandez and wife Olivia; nieces Victoria Alvarez and Anessa Torres; his beloved dog Lily; and a host of family and friends.
Mundo is preceded in death by his father Silvestre Hernandez, Sr.

Mundo Hernández, un dedicado ex técnico de procesos de Poco Graphite durante 25 años, falleció el 10 de mayo del 2024, dejando un legado de arduo trabajo y compromiso. Nació el 6 de enero del 1973 en Palmas Altas, Jerez Zacatecas, México, hijo de Silvestre, Sr. y Bertha Hernández.
Mundo era conocido no solo por sus logros profesionales, sino también por su vibrante personalidad. Se graduó de Bridgeport High School en 1991, donde sentó las bases de su exitosa carrera. A Mundo le apasionaba jugar béisbol, pasar horas en el lago, embarcarse en viajes a WinStar, crear recuerdos de Snapchat, escuchar música, mostrar su talento artístico a través del dibujo y apoyar apasionadamente a sus equipos favoritos: los Dallas Cowboys, los Texas Rangers y los Dallas Mavericks. Su espíritu vibrante iluminaba cada habitación en la que entraba.
Mundo será muy extrañado por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Deja un legado de trabajo duro, bondad y un amor inquebrantable por su familia.
