Micheal Dee Hood, 44, of Alvord, Texas passed away October 16, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 21, 2013 in the Chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas, with burial at Jim Ned Cemetery. Steve Gray will officiate. Pallbearers are Jody Hood, Jason Hood, Sidney Hood, Chuck Hood, Billy Hood, and Monty Forbus. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the funeral home. Micheal was born April 17, 1969 in Bridgeport to Helen (Poland) and Windell Joe Hood. He was a welder in the oilfield who loved to work on his hotrods. He is survived by his wife Melissa; sons Colton Schwartz, Jason Schwartz, Bryson Holland, and Triston Holland; daughters Micheala Hood and Kristina Tinsley; his mother and step-father Don Taylor; brothers Jody, Sidney, Chuck, and Jason Hood; sisters Lisa and Neva Hood; and grandchildren Carly Hood, Leathel Dawn, Jessica Lynn, Dakoda Blaze and Jimmy Zane. He is preceded in death by his father; granddaughter Addison Elaine Hood Weatherly; and grandfather Eston Poland.
