Mary Petty

A graveside service for Mary Ann Petty, 68, of Sunset, Texas will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 10:00 am at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 21 at Jones Family Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Mary passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at home. She was born January 7, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to J.R. and Oleta (Reneau) Boyd. On June 5, 1965 she married Royce Petty in Hurst, Texas. Mary was a homemaker who loved her family, all animals, and planting. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Royce D. Petty, Sr.; sons Royce D. Petty, Jr., and Ron S. Petty and wife Kim; mother Oleta Master; brother Bob Boyd and wife Martha; grandchildren Richelle L. Petty, Shelby L. Petty, and Stacey L. Petty. She was preceded in death by her father, J.R. Boyd.
