Memorial Services for Mary Kathleen McEntire, 78, of Chico, Texas, will be held at 10 am Saturday, November 18, 2023, at East Mound Church of Christ in Bridgeport, where she was a long-time member. Jimmy Williams and Cooper McClung will be officiating.
Mary was born on March 11, 1945, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Silas David and Mary Lewis (Kilpatrick) McEntire, and peacefully passed away November 6, 2023, in Decatur, Texas.
She dedicated many years of her life to her career as a machinist. Her dedication and skills were commendable, earning her the respect of colleagues and supervisors alike. Despite not being a flashy person, Mary possessed a warm and caring personality that touched everyone she met. Throughout her life, Mary found immense joy in spending time with her family. Her granddaughter held a special place in her heart, and they shared countless treasured moments together. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Mary’s memory are her son Joe McEntire and wife Tara; brother Don McEntire and wife Pam; sister Ilene Williams; and granddaughter Ivy Lynn McEntire.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Silas David and Mary Lewis McEntire.
