Mary Horn

Services for Mary Horn of Bridgeport will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas, officiated by Rusty Tanner. Mary died Thursday, January 5, 2012 in Bridgeport at age 72. She was born November 17,1939 in Muleshoe, Texas to parents William Thurman and Bernice (Springfield)Hendrix. Mary was a retired hair stylist who enjoyed country music, gardening,s inging, crafts, and animals of all kinds, including a pet raccoon affectionately named Poot. She had a keen sense of humor and loved people, young and old, especially her late husband Cecil. Mary is survived by sons Denny Burton and wife Diane of Enid, Oklahoma, Kenny Graham of Irving, Texas, and Curtis Thomas of Amarillo, Texas; sister Thurma Freeby and husband Clarence of Bridgeport, brother Robert Hendrix and wife Wanda of Madison, Mississippi; grandson Christopher Graham of Irving; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death byhusband Cecil Dean Horn, her parents, and sister Novella England.
