Martha Moore

Martha Jane Turner Moore, 84, went to be with the Lord on the morning of Sunday April 30, 2017 at her home in Lake Bridgeport, Texas

A Memorial Service for Martha will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday May 4, 2017 at the Grace Fellowship Church in Paradise, Texas. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 3, from 6-8 pm at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport

Martha was born March 10, 1933 in Miami, Oklahoma to James E. and Wanda E. Turner. She married her beloved husband Max Moore on June 19,1955 in Durant, Oklahoma. She taught Physical Education her entire professional career where she loved teaching and serving children, and eventually served the people of the Paradise Community at the "Time Out Grocery" . She carried on her love for children later in life through caring for her own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Se also loved her church, Grace Fellowship, where she faithfully served as the "cookie lady" for several years. She was a devoted follower of Christ, wonderful, supportive wife, great, loving mother and a servant of anyone in need.

She is survived by her husband Max; sons Matt Moore, Marc Moore and wife Carolyn;grandchildren Morgan McClanahan and husband Terry, Maggie Sears and husband Travis; great-grandchildren Trevor and Turner South, Treysonn McClanahan, Landy and Larkin Sears.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents and sister George Ann Turner Mahaffey.

Memorial donations can be make to the childrens ministry of Grace Fellowship Church.

Arrangements are being handled by Jones Family Funeral Home, Bridgeport.
