Memorial services for Mark Yeatts, 62, of Bridgeport Texas will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, February 2. 2025, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mark Alan Yeatts was born on January 5, 1963, to Connie Mack and Marilyn (Givens) Yeatts in Denton, Texas, and passed on January 23, 2025, in Bridgeport, Texas.
Mark graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1981 and attended Texas Tech University and the University of North Texas studying Mechanical engineering. He was involved from a very early age in the oil & gas industry, which grew a lifelong career. Mark’s career spanned many facets of the industry: from servicing wells, to innovating gas plunger lift systems, and integrating technology at the well site.
Mark enjoyed competitive sport shooting with his dad from an early age and was invited to train for the Junior Olympics Skeet & Trap Shooting Team in Colorado Springs, Colorado as a teenager.
He was a skilled outdoorsmen and hunter.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, Connie Mack Yeatts of Bridgeport; grandparents, Oather and Cleo Ridley Yeatts and Wyatt and Winnie Givens; and sister, Marianne (Yeatts) Pike of Paradise.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Yeatts Johnson; sisters, Sherri Jones and husband Kevin, and Amy Warren and husband Jon; brother-in -law, Charlie Pike; nine nieces and nephews and their families; and many lifelong friends.
