Maria Lidia Romo

Maria Lidia Romo, 76, of Decatur passed away March 23, 2018 in Decatur. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 26, at 10:30 AM, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur with burial to follow at Sycamore Cemetery.  Rosary will be Sunday, March 25, at 7:00 PM at Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur.  

Maria Lidia was born July 15, 1941 in Mexico to Alberto Evangelista and Rafaela Hurtado. She married Domingo Romo on August 19, 1963 in Mexico. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She also loved animals and plants.

Maria Lidia was preceded in death by her husband Domingo Romo and her daughter Bertha Lomas.

Maria Lidia is survived by her son, Jaime Romo and wife Alma of Krum; daughters, Arjelia "Helen" Romo of Springtown, Sandra Romo of Slidell, Marisol Millan of Slidell; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
