Marcos Torres

Marcos Torres, Jr., 58, of Bridgeport, Texas passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 in Bridgeport. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 5, 2012 in the Chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jose Luis Torres, Chris Martinez, Mike Clarke, and Robert Vidal. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at the funeral home. Marcos was born September 30, 1953, in Dallas, Texas to Elvira Lopez and Marcos Torres, Sr. Hewas a consultant in the oilfield business. He loved cooking, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and vacationing. He is survived by his wife Julie; sons Jim Bob Culwell and Austin Culwell and wife Kimberly; daughters Crystal North and Katelyn Torres; parents Elvira and Marcos Torres, Sr.; brother Jose Luis Torres and wife Maria; sister Brenda L. Valdez and husband Vincent; and grandchildren Hunter and Michaela Clarke, Avery North, and Madicyn, Bella and Bailey Culwell. Marcos is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Lorenza and Pedro Lopez and paternal grandparents Manuela and Vicente Torres.
