Lonnie Manire

Lonnie Ray Manire, 78, of Bridgeport passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Bridgeport. Services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 5, 2015, followed by burial in West Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Tuesday, one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers are Chris Robinson, Mike Carlson, Tyler Tapps, Kenny Robinson, Tim Robinson, and Wacey Jackson. Lonnie was born July 15, 1936 in Forestburg, Texas to Harry and Jewel (Cook) Manire. He was a member of Cates Street Baptist Church in Bridgeport. He enjoyed yardwork and being outside. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sarah Jackson; sons Lonnie Manire, Jr., and Bud Jackson; daughters Cindy Manire, and Shelly Robinson; brother Harold Manire and wife Penny; grandchildren Tyler Tapps, Nathan Roberson, Thomas Tapps, Chris Robinson, Karly Carlson, Wacey Jackson, Braden Jackson, and McKenzi Knight; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
