Lisa Ann Church

Services for Lisa Ann Cates-Church, 52, of Grand Prairie, Texas will be 2:00 pm Friday, May 22, 2020 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home, officiated by Larry Fair. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery in Bridgeport. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm, one hour prior to the service. Lisa passed away Monday, May 18 in Dallas, after a lengthy illness.

She was born October 12, 1967 in Wolfe City, Texas to Jackie Glen Turney and wife Ruth (Wilcher) Turney.  

Lisa is survived by her mother Ruth Turney; son Donnie Dale Church, III and wife Natalie; daughters Donita Steiner and husband Greg, Samantha Cates, and Chasity Escobar and husband Sam; sister Jacqueline Maffett and husband Ron; brother Ronnie Turney and wife Stephanie; grandchildren Tyler, Brandon, Jake, Garrett, Bailey, Brylan, Leighton, J.W., and Charlie; niece Mackenzie Turney; nephew Matthew Turney and wife Brittany and other family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 20 years, Don Church, and her father Jackie Turney.
