Lindy King

Services for Lindy G. King, 65, of Bridgeport will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by First Baptist Church of Paradise pastor David Kelly. Lindy died in Dallas Wednesday, September 18. Burial will follow at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bart King, Blake King, Billy Jack Martin, Beaumont Brown, David Shawn, and Charlie McDaniel. Honorary pallbearer is Gerb Tackett. Lindy was born November 30, 1947 in Bridgeport to parents J.D. and Inez (Niblett) King. Lindy was saved at the age of 12 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paradise. He married Delyn Harris on October 23, 1967 in Bridgeport. His life was his children and he loved spending time with his family. Because of a generous lifesaving heart transplant Lindy was allowed extra time to spend with family. He was very thankful for that gift. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Delyn King; sons Kevin King, Clint King and wife Amber, and Casey King; grandchildren Blake King, Hannah King, Charlie King, Jessica King, Ashley King and ZZ King; and great-grandchild Gage King. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Eddie King.
