Leona Margaret Taylor

Leona Taylor, 80, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017, in Decatur. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 17, at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home-Decatur. Visitation will be Monday, from 6 PM - 8 PM at the funeral home. Leona was born on July 8, 1936, to Mary Martha and Jack Harold Stevens in Palo Pinto, Texas. She is survived by step-sons, James Taylor and Robert Taylor; step-daughter, Janie Cunningham; sisters-in-law, Lillie Sherman and Ola Taylor; niece, Kathy McConnell; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Walter Taylor; sister, Earlene; and stepdaughter, Jolene Taylor.
