Keith Blanks

Keith Blanks, 53, of Chico, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Chico. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Chico. Burial will follow in Chico Cemetery. Reverend Larry Potts will officiate. Pallbearers are Rusty Hand, Jack Keller, Jack Watson, Alvin Boner, Mike Bounds, and Eddie Cox. Visitation is 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, February 20, 2012 at Jones Family Funeral Home. Keith was born October 10, 1958 in Bridgeport, Texas to Viva (Potts) and Charles (Chuck) Blanks. He worked in the oilfield industry. He loved his family, his dog, bird hunting, children's sports, and farming. Keith is survived by his daughter Kelcey; sons Jeremy and Jerod; parents; brothers David Blanks and wife Theresa and Doug Blanks; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
