Kay Roberts

Funeral services for Kay Roberts, 83, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 30, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Britt Doty and Gary Demmitt.   Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery in Bridgeport. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 pm also at the funeral home.  She passed away on December 25, 2022.

Kay was born June 23, 1939, in Fort Worth, Texas to Royce and Norine Holt.  She married Donald Roberts on May 30, 1958, and they enjoyed 50 years together until he preceded her in death. Kay held a bachelor’s degree in nursing.  Her hobbies included sewing, cooking, planting flowers, and photography.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include son Monty Roberts; grandchildren, Ambra Cross and husband Jarrod Cross, Caytlyn Devoll, and Hunter Devoll; great-grandchildren Maddie Cross and Mason Cross.   

Kay is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Marcia Devoll; siblings, Tommy Sims, Bobby Holt, Reba Bradley and Lois Lowery.
