Funeral services for Judy Stevens, 61, of Bridgeport, Texas, will be held at 3 pm Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with burial to follow at Westside Cemetery. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 10, from 6-8 pm. Pastor Chris Wann will be officiating. Judy passed away, peacefully, on May 4, 2023, in Loveland, Colorado.
Pallbearers will include Steve Bogle, Bart Starr, Ryan Kennedy, Tracy Martin, Haden Snodgrass, Katelin Snodgrass, Martin Morris, and James Hall.
Judy was born July 27, 1961, in Bridgeport, Texas, to D. Webster Bellah and Juanita Pearl Breeze. She married John Galley Stevens on September 29, 1983, in Bridgeport, Texas, and was happily married for 16 years, until his passing. Judy was a homemaker that enjoyed cooking, missionary work, and spending time with her family. Her favorite role, though, was that of a doting mimi who absolutely cherished her grandchildren. Judy was a respected member of the community and was well known for her involvement with, and contributions to, The Community Church in Decatur. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Niki Stevens-Martin and husband Tim of Bridgeport, Texas; sisters Linda Jo Kennedy and husband Ryan Patrick of Loveland, Colorado, Brenda Lee Bellah and husband Bart Starr of Paradise, Texas, DeEllen Bellah of Marlin, Texas, and Janice Bellah Lucas of Stillwater, Oklahoma; grandchildren Nikyla, Jerran, Deakon, and Braxton Martin, Benjamin, Stephen, and Olivia Norstrom, and Cynthia and Adaline Conn; nephews James Hall of Bridgeport, Texas, and Haden Snodgrass and wife Katelin of Bridgeport, Texas; nieces Vickie and Brittany Hall of Bridgeport, Texas; numerous additional nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister Lockade Hall of Bridgeport, Texas; and brothers Dow Bellah and wife Cheryil of Bridgeport, Texas and Jerry Bellah of Pampa, Texas.
