Johnny Hughes

Johnny Hall Hughes, 79, of Decatur, Texas,a retired dairyman, passed away at his home in Decatur during the early morning hours of Thursday, February 9, 2012. A memorial service is scheduled at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Decatur. The family requests that donations be made to the Oak Grove Church in lieu of flowers. Johnny was born November 1, 1932, in Decatur to Wallace Hughes and Beulah Hall Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lula Fern Porter Hughes; three sons, John Hughes, Perry Hughes and wife Vickie, and Robert Hughes all of Decatur; a daughter, Tretha Martin of Bridgeport; and two granddaughters, Erin and Kari Hughes, of North Pole, Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Ann Hughes and Peggy Hughes.
