Services for Joel Martinez-Ramirez, age 50, Jose Emanuel Aguilar Marin, age 19, and Luz Antonia Martinez, eighteen-months old, will be 10:00 am Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur, Texas, officiated by Father Reehan Antony and Deacon Mauricio Hernandez. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation and Rosary will be Monday, December 28 from 6-8 pm at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Joel and two of his children passed away tragically Thursday, December 17 in a fire that destroyed their home in Decatur.
Joel was born December 26, 1969 in Rio Grande Zacatecas, Mexico to Angel Martinez and wife Maria de la Luz Ramirez.
Emanuel was born October 9, 2001 in Durango, Durango Mexico.
Luz was born May 12, 2019 in Decatur, Texas.
Survivors are wife and mother Erika Martinez of Decatur; children and siblings Nahum Martinez, and Karol Joel Martinez; and grandfather Guillermo Marin.
They were preceded in death by parents and grandparents Angel and Maria Martinez, and Antonia Chairez Robles.

Los servicios para Joel Martínez-Ramírez, 50 años, José Emanuel Aguilar Marín, de 19 años, y Luz Antonia Martínez, de dieciocho meses de edad, serán a las 10:00 am martes, 29 de diciembre de 2020 en la Asunción de la Santísima Iglesia Católica Virgen María en Decatur, Texas, oficiada por el Padre Reehan Antony. El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio Oaklawn en Decatur. Visitación y Rosario será lunes el 28 de diciembre de 6-8 pm en Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home en Bridgeport.
Joel y dos de sus hijos fallecieron trágicamente el jueves 17 de diciembre en un incendio que destruyó su casa en Decatur.
Joel nació el 26 de diciembre de 1969 en Río Grande Zacatecas, México, hijo de Angel Martínez y su esposa María de la Luz Ramírez.
Emanuel nació el 9 de octubre de 2001 en Durango, Durango México.
Luz nació el 12 de mayo de 2019 en Decatur, Texas.
Los sobrevivientes son su esposa y madre Erika Martínez de Decatur; los niños y hermanos Nahum Martínez, y Karol Joel Martínez; y el abuelo Guillermo Marín.
