Joe McKnight, 58, of Bridgeport, Texas passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 in Decatur, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, January 11, 2013, in the Chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Butch Laxson, Doug Hill, Tommy Brown, Jeff Rhodes, Allan Molloy, and Dwayne Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Molloy and Kelan, Kutler, and Kolson Jenkins. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the funeral home. Joe was born November 14, 1954, in Grapevine, Texas to Louise Cotton Scroggins. He was a salesman in the oil and gas industry who enjoyed hunting, golf, and playing with his grandchildren. Joe is survived by his daughters Toni Jenkins and husband Matt of Paradise, Texas, Mandy Clark and husband Nathan of Lake Bridgeport, Texas, Kelly McClung of Bridgeport, and Kay McKnight; grandchildren Kelan, Kutler, and Kolson Jenkins, Kortni Garner, Ellie Clark, and Makayla McBride; many other relatives; and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his mother; grandmother Odessa Cotton; brother Bobby Ross; and sister Mitzi Garrison.
