Jo Ann Tucker

Jo Ann Tucker, 77, of Chico, Texas passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Chico, with burial to follow in Chico Cemetery. Carl McCann will officiate. Pallbearers are Pancho Redwine, Eddie Cowley, James Capps, Larry Mader, Kent Cox, and William Cox. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Jo Ann was born on January 2, 1938 to Lenora (Jackson) and Occie Gee. She was a member of the Friendship Club, and had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Chico since 1977. Jo Ann loved to crochet, cook, make candy, can, and garden. She especially loved and enjoyed her family, the holidays, and talking on the phone. Jo Ann is survived by her husband Nobie Tucker; daughters Debbie Whitfield and husband Michael, and Rhonda Richey and husband Bobby; brother Leon Gee; sisters Helen Isbell and husband Jim, Sylvia Meador and husband Jim, and Pam Cole and husband Tony; grandchildren Wendy, Angela, Ella, Larry, Josh, and Chris; and great-grandchildren Blake, Trevor, Kaleigh, Ethan, Kolby, Caelon, Austin, Kason, Caddie, Jaxon, Heartlee, Graham, Kaycie and Jamie. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two sisters, one granddaughter and one great-grandson. Donations may be made to the Chico Volunteer Fire Department.
