Jimmie Woolaver

Jimmie Jo Fellers Woolaver, 89, of Decatur, Texas passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Decatur. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. James Fellers and Ron Fox will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Jimmie was born September 6, 1923, in Baylis, Illinois to Lena (Lyle) and Jesse Fellers. She will be remembered for her sweet and loving ways. She was active in her church community at Cornerstone Baptist Church. She worked for Armour and Co. until 1962 and spent retirement enjoying her family and helping Calvin with their cattle operation. She loved quilting and playing cards with her sisters. Always quick with a smile and a twinkle in her eye, she will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Jimmie is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Calvin Woolaver; sister Betty Bailes of Sanger, Texas; and son Wayne Woolaver and wife Cheryl of Krum, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Robert Leaton Fellers, Jesse Leaton Fellers, and James Ernest Fellers; and sisters Louise Kelley, Mary Fellers, Ruby Fellers, Mildred Mara, and Edna Bogard.
