Jim Brown

A memorial service for Jim Brown, 81, of Bridgeport, will be Monday, February 1, at 3:00 PM at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home. The service will be live streamed on the Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home Facebook page.  He passed away January 27 in Dallas.  

Jim was born December 18, 1939 to Raymond Hogan Brown and Emma Mae Worthington Brown in Pottsboro, Texas.  He was self-employed for many years and enjoyed his retirement years.  He loved to go hunting in Colorado, was a fisherman, and loved to do mechanic work.  He enjoyed spending time with family. Jim was loved and will be greatly missed.   

He is survived by wife, Fiffie Brown; sons, James Paul Brown of Bridgeport, Jacob Jeremy Brown and wife Elizabeth of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Paula D’eAnn Largent and husband Lee of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Quinton, Conner, Kristan, Lacey, and Hannah; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Billie Gene Brown.
