Sonny was born in a Coast Guard/Navy hospital on November 8, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to JH, Sr. and Marie (Barca) Brazier. He joined the Air Force in April 1965. During his service, he was stationed in Germany and France, demonstrating his commitment to his country. Afterwards, Sonny embarked on a remarkable 46-year career with the natural gas pipeline company Kinder Morgan before his well-deserved retirement. Even during retirement, Sonny stayed active by driving cars for James Wood Motors.
In his free time, Sonny indulged in many hobbies. He enjoyed hunting with his father and brothers in the scenic landscapes of Colorado and Utah, fishing trips with friends and family, and golfing.
Above all else, Sonny valued spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His presence and storytelling will be dearly missed during the mornings spent at the local donut shop, chatting with friends and his brother Bobby.
Sonny leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Those left to cherish Sonny’s memory are his loving wife of 21 years Linda (Sams) Brazier; sons Eric Brazier and Craig Talley; daughters Monika Allen and husband Brad and Hannah Moore; brother Bobby Brazier and wife Lisa; sister Barbara Munn and husband Ronnie; grandchildren Heather, Colton, Hailey, Brazier, Landen, and Jared; great-grandchildren Rylan, Greyson, Brooks, and Kylee (Kiki); and a host of family and friends.
Sonny is preceded in death by his parents JH, Sr. and Marie Brazier, and brother Billy Brazier.
