Jennifer Leann Kennedy, 34, of Sunset, Texas, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012, in Decatur, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2012, in the Chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. Brother Bill Cleveland and Brother Michael Feese will officiate. Pallbearers are Shawn Burkett, Jason Baird, Matthew Baird, Danny Taylor, Clayton Taylor, Ed Elsmere, Jonathan Fennell, and Chuck Harris. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Jennifer was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 16, 1977, to Bessie (Meunier) and Jack D. Kennedy. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Jennifer was a truck driver. She is survived by her parents; sister Kristi Griffin and husband Paul of Alvord, Texas; niece Kaitlyn Griffin and nephew Austin Griffin, both of Alvord; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
