A funeral service for Jason Scott Musser, 34, of Justin, Texas will be 3:00 pm Friday, July 10, 2020 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Burial will follow at East Bridgeport Cemetery, officiated by Brother Charles Pugh. Pallbearers are Heath Wilson, Ashely Harris, Chad Williams, Cameron Tyner, Jared Norman, Christopher Shirey, Ty Silva, and Steven Scarborough. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday, July 9, 2020 also at the funeral home. Jason passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Dallas, Texas.
He was born January 11, 1986 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Garlan and Tammy (Watson) Musser. Jason graduated Bridgeport High School in 2004. During that time, he came in second in state for Math and Science UIL Competition. Jason was a machinist for Mayday Incorporated for five years.
He enjoyed reading, playing video games, cooking, and riding his bike. He loved his cat Lelith.
Jason was a very kind-hearted and loving son and will be truly missed. He was loved by many.
He is survived by his parents Garlan and Tammy Musser of Justin; sister Jennifer Parker of Watauga, Texas; girlfriend Jessica Hiley of Denton, Texas; two nieces Briley and Kenzie Parker of Watauga; grandparents Wally and Jan Musser of Boonesville, Texas and Wayne and Fern Watson of Dennison, Texas; great-grandparent Billie Lambert of Boyd, Texas.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents Donna and Steve Williams and his great-granddad Gilbert Lambert.
