Jaqueline "Jackie" Hernandez

Jaqueline “Jackie” Hernandez, 16, of Bridgeport passed away on June 16, 2024, in Perrin, Texas. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 22 at St Johns Catholic Church in Bridgeport with burial to follow at Paradise Cemetery. Rosary will be at 6 PM on Friday, June 21 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport with visitation to follow 7 – 9 PM. 

Jackie was born January 17, 2008, in Decatur, Texas to Jose Luis Hernandez and Graciela Lopez. She attended school in Paradise and would have been a junior at Paradise High School this year. She loved to play basketball with her cousins. After high school, Jackie's dream was to join the Air Force. 

She is survived by her parents, Jose Luis Hernandez and Graciela Lopez; brother, Gael Alonso Hernandez of Bridgeport; sisters, Alexa Hernandez of Bridgeport, Valentina Lopez of Bridgeport; grandparents, Idelfonso Lopez of Paradise, Maria E. Lopez of Paradise, Jesus Hernandez of Fort Worth, Filiberta Duran of Fort Worth; great-grandparents, Florentino Estrada of Mexico and Juana Sandoval of Mexico; and a host of other family and friends. 

Jackie is preceded in death by her uncle, Luis Estrada and her aunt, Ester Estrada.
