Janice Shepard

Janice Shepard, 85, of Decatur, passed away September 12, 2018.  Memorial service is Saturday, September 22, at 11:00 AM at Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur. 

Janice McDonald Shepard, was born February 12, 1933 to Frank Miller McDonald and Ethel Benson, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  She volunteered as Popcorn Lady at Wise Regional Auxiliary.  Janice was a member of the Order of Easter Star Chapter 543 in Decatur, Texas.  She loved people, funny stories, and playing games on the computer.  She was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Wadle; twin sister, Janet Schrader; brother, Donald McDonald; son, Robert Wayne Shepard; and grandson Ryan Alden Munnerlyn.

Janice is survived by daughters; Rebecca Friary & husband Kevin of Taunton, Massachusetts, Cindy Munnerlyn & husband Trevor of Decatur; grandchildren, Justin Friary, Aislinn Thomas & husband Mark of Massachusetts, Jordan and Joshua Shepard of Arlington, TX, Chad Shepard of El Campo, TX, Cody Shepard of Duncanville, TX, Kevin Munnerlyn & wife Alejandra of Carrolton, TX; four great-grand-children and several nieces and nephews.
