Services for Janice K. Lott, 69, of Decatur will be 11:00 am Monday, October 12, 2015 at Chancellor and Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur, officiated by Pastor James Crawford. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation will be Sunday, October 11 from 2-4 pm, also at Chancellor and Jones. Janice passed away Thursday, October 8 in Fort Worth. Janice was born on September 13, 1946 in Galesburg, Illinois to A.J and Carol (Peal) Varner, and passed away on October 8, 2015 in Fort Worth. At the time of her passing she was a resident of Decatur, Texas. Her hobbies included her love for reading, bowling and puzzles. She is survived by her husband Charles M. Lott; her sons Larry D. Peterson, Christopher J. Peterson, and Charles D. Lott; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry D. Peterson.
