Janet Gilbert

Janet O. Gilbert, 68, of Bridgeport, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Dallas from ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). A memorial service will be held at a later date. Janet was born June 8, 1945 in Goldthwaite, Texas to Annie Marie (Casbeer) and Ernest Shelton. She moved to Midland, Texas where she met her husband of forty-seven years, Durand Gilbert. She worked as an electronic assembler, vineyard manager, and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband; daughter Susanne Fulton of Poolville, Texas; granddaughters Kelsey and Kara Fulton of Poolville; sister Virginia Ezell of Midland, Texas; brother Ernest W. Shelton of Granbury, Texas; and nieces and nephews. Remembrances may be made to the MDA/ALS Association.
