Graveside services for Hazel Irene Mayo Turner, 86, of Paradise, Texas, will be 10:30 am Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday, March 13, 2023, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Pastor Don Wills will officiate. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 10, 2023, in Decatur, Texas.
Hazel was born in Grayson County, Texas, on March 17, 1936, to Ralph and Anna Catherine (Monroe) Mayo. In her professional life, Hazel spent numerous years working for Tandy Corporation in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church and attended services whenever given the chance. Hazel also enjoyed gardening and, most importantly, her family, whom she regarded as the center of her life.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Alan Wilson and wife Sherry; two grandchildren Vicki Miller and husband George, AJ Wilson and fiancée Kat Civis; great-grandson Noah Miller, and a host of friends.
Hazel is preceded in death by her parents; son Ronnie Wilson; grandson Mark Wilson; and brother Wayne Mayo.
