A private graveside service for Hayes Robert Waters was held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Eastside Cemetery in Bridgeport, Texas.
Hayes Robert Waters passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Born Monday, February 17, 2025 (which was President’s Day), Hayes touched so many people during his short visit with us before being called back home to be with Jesus. He brought immense joy to every life he touched and gave us a lifetime of love during his time with us on earth. We will cherish every moment we had with our precious Hayes.
Hayes is the son of Colton Waters and McKeeley DuBose. He is celebrated by his paternal grandparents, Denise and Pat Waters; maternal grandparents, Dawn and Kenneth Clouse and Tammy and Brent DuBose; paternal great-grandparents, Carla and Bobby Waters and Cindy and Dewey Petters; maternal great-grandparents, Jan and Harvey Douglas and Sherry and Jerry DuBose. Other family celebrating Hayes Robert include Collin and Kelley White and sons Carter, Baker, and Baynks; Presley White; Cole Denman; Bonnie and Josh Marotzke and son Harvey; and Charley DuBose and Andy Garza.
Hayes is preceded in death by his great-uncle, Harvey Scott Douglas, and paternal great-grandmother, Debra McMullan.
