Harold Denney

Harold Denney, 71, of Chico, Texas passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at home. Funeral services are at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at U Turn World Ministries in Chico. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 3, Chico. Reverend Barney Hudson and Doug Moreland will officiate. Visitation is from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Harold was born August 12, 1941, in Chico to Ruth (Redwine) and Hurston Denney. He loved to fish and hunt. He had over twenty years of combined service with the Wise County Sheriff's Department, the Bridgeport Police Department, and the Wise County Constable Precinct 4. He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Debbie Slimp Denney; sons Rickey Denney and wife Michelle, Stan Denney, Chris Tidwell and wife Michelle, and Randy Tidwell; daughters Kim Covarubius and husband Randy and Kelly Martin and husband Parris; brother Leonard Denney and wife Angie; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
