Memorial services for Gail Jane (Davidson) Wood, 72, of Crafton, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Gail Jane Wood was born May 27, 1951, along with her twin brother Dale, in Decatur, Texas, to W.H. and Evelyn (Tucker) Davidson, and passed away March 18, 2024, in Crafton, Texas. She married Kenneth Wood July 26, 1971, and was happily married for 52 years.
Aside from her duties as a homemaker, Gail found joy in the simple pleasures of life. One of her favorite pastimes was riding her motorcycle, feeling the wind in her hair as she embraced the freedom of the open road. Her adventurous spirit and zest for life were truly remarkable.
Those left to cherish Gail’s memory are her husband Kenneth Wood of Crafton, Texas; son Darrell Davidson and wife Traci of Crafton, Texas; daughters Janice Applegate of Bowie, Texas, and Kendra Leal and husband Manuel of Crafton , Texas; her twin brother Dale Davidson and wife Judy of Bridgeport, Texas; brother Royce Davidson and wife Debbie; sister Joyce of Crafton, Texas; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and another on the way; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Gail is preceded in death by her parents W.H. and Evelyn Davidson; grandparents Hiram and Leah Davidson and Charlie and Ida Jane Tucker; brother Junior Davidson; sister Glenda Freeman; son-in law Dale Applegate; and brother-in-law Roger Wood.
