Florence R. Strever

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Florence Strever, 74, of Bridgeport, Texas. Florence passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 in Bridgeport.

She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut August 1, 1945 to Harold E. and Katherine G. (Riley) Strever.

Florence ‘Aunt Toody’ loved to play board games and was a cheating pro at Yahtzee. She also enjoyed word search games, card games, and jigsaw puzzles.

Florence leaves behind her sister Gladys Cahill and husband Howard of Alvord, Texas; brother Earl W. Strever and wife Candy of Orange City, Florida; nephews Charles H. Boucher and wife Teresa of Bridgeport, and Timothy E. Boucher and wife Christine of Bowie, Texas; and great-nieces Angela Boucher and Lynsey Fralix, both of Bridgeport; and numerous other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Katherine Strever; nieces Tracy R. Cahill and Katherine L. Wright; sisters Shirley Turner and Pat Koonz; and brothers Edward Riley, George Strever, Don Strever and Clarence Strever.
